About me:

I'm a licensed attorney and Business and Legal Affairs executive with 13+ years of experience in entertainment. I run an independent law practice focused on video game and entertainment transactions.

Before starting my practice, I was SVP of Business and Legal Affairs at a major indie studio. Over nearly twelve years there, I served as counsel across its creative verticals and provided in-house guidance and support for the company's overall operations. I later led all business and legal affairs for the company's award-winning video game publishing label, helping structure and negotiate financing, development, production, publishing, distribution, licensing, joint venture, and M&A transactions across its portfolio. I also helped extend the label's original IP into film, television, and animation, held board-level governance responsibilities at the company's in-house porting studio, and led internal and external legal teams.

I work as a deal-side partner, enabling transactions rather than obstructing them. I negotiate and draft agreements that reflect the practical realities of how the work gets done. I know how creators, studios, publishers, platforms, and distributors think about IP, and I help clients build, protect, and extend their work across games, film, television, and animation.
